Kata-Reference.com is your one stop reference site for kata videos. We currently have 334 karate kata videos indexed and are adding to that number quickly.
This site is to serve as a online martial arts reference, where you can view the heart of many different styles, the kata, in one place. This is also to provide a means of comparison, not simply of different performances within a style, but the same kata as performed in many different styles of Karate.
Kata-Reference.com went online mid-August 2007, and we are still working to index videos of the kata from various styles of karate, as well as adding new features to the site. We hope to make this a valuable resource site for martial artists of all styles.
If you would like to add a video to the site please upload it to one of the many free video hosting sites that allow embedding (youtube.com, dailymotion.com, Google Video, etc) and send us a link, as well as the style, kata name and a short description. Feel free to include a link back to your website in the description if you like.
